Friends of ORNS

Oak Ridge Nursery School is a non-profit organization and relies on community support to run our programs. If you are interested in learning ways you can help us, please see the information below.

Donate Supplies

  • Kitchen/paper goods-napkins, paper plates, paper towels, small cups, spoons, trash bags, tissues, bleach

  • Art Supplies-construction paper, card stock (all colors), glue sticks, crayons, markers, tape, yarn, water colors, paint, and anything we could use for arts and crafts.

  • Computers (older is just fine, just need to function)

  • Computer Games (educational, age-appropriate)

  • Books, puzzles & toys- gently use

  • Dress-up items (small women’s dresses,  men’s ties, small shoes, Halloween costumes, etc.)

  • Blocks-all different types (wood, cardboard, plastic, sensory blocks, etc)

  • Small rugs, oversized pillows, pillow cases, etc for our quiet areas

  • Manipulative toys- any item that promotes problem solving & fine motor skills

  • CDs (kids music, Kids Bop, natural/earth, classical, multi-cultural, etc)

  • CD Players

  • Batteries (AA & AAA mostly)

  • Decorations to hang on the wall and ceilings (old cds, beads, “jewels,” etc)

  • Puppets

  • Basically, if you don’t need or want it, we just might!
